27 September 2011 - Harper Chalice to introduce important innovations in electrified security fencing

27/09/2011

Harper Chalice has confirmed that it will be launching a new range of PulseSecure PROTECTOR HVLV interfaces and a new control system. The development will add significantly to the system’s existing capability and will further boost Harper Chalice’s current growth and success and with important contracts.

The latest enhancement to PulseSecure PROTECTOR technology, scheduled for launch before the year end, has been developed to be more efficient and improve the way electrified fence systems are integrated with other security technologies, confirms MD Graham Harper.

“We have already established a significant technology lead over our competitors and are winning market share as a result. Our continuing rapid growth is due to the fact that PulseSecure PROTECTOR is demonstrably more secure and more reliable than any other perimeter solution. Taking the next step, we are now investing to improve the way our technology integrates seamlessly with other systems. This innovation will raise electrified security fencing onto a whole new level.”

Over the last few years Harper Chalice has transformed electrified fencing by moving away from traditional concepts and components, used by other systems. "These conventional solutions are typically less effective, having originally been developed for use in agricultural fencing," adds Mr Harper. "By contrast, we started from scratch - with no pre-conditions - and came up with technology that is better, quicker, neater, easier to install and more secure."

In independent trials at the end of 2010 the PulseSecure™ PROTECTOR Enhanced fully monitored electrified power fencing system was confirmed as the most secure and stable technology of its kind on the market.

During the rigorous assessments, which took place over an 8 month period on a rough weather test site, no other electrified power fencing systems matched Harper Chalice’s or achieved a comparable performance for detection or freedom from false alarm.
Since the results of these tests was confirmed Harper Chalice has been winning major contracts in the UK and internationally, ranging in scale from small secure facilities to perimeters many kilometres in length.
