Business Development Manager

We require a Business Development Sales Manager to sell and promote nationally throughout the UK our range of FenceSecure and WallSecure and PulseSecure electronic perimeter systems to major users and specifiers via our network of Accredited Dealers, Security Integrators and Alarm Installation companies.

We are seeking a high calibre Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling products and/or services into a variety of business sectors. The right person will have a ‘can do attitude’ and be willing to travel throughout the UK. You will be polished, articulate, driven and consultative in your approach.

This is a sales opportunity that requires a driven person with an electronics/mechanical back ground to join our team. Ideally you will have knowledge of electronic security systems, and a technical sales and dealer management background.

As part of our UK sales team you will be tasked with selling our specialist systems throughout the UK to major users, specifiers, security integrates and alarm installation companies. Focusing on developing new business you will need to show an entrepreneurial spirit in maintaining and developing our accredited dealer base whilst generating new sales leads. You will be based in Coventry and will reporting to our Sales Director. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative to generate leads and secure new business.

This is a relationship-building sales role where you are tasked with two core responsibilities:
the first is managing and motivating Accredited Dealers and major users/specifiers throughout the UK; the second is winning high valued end-user projects in conjunction with our Accredited Dealers and security integrators.

For much of the time you will be out and about, meeting clients and attending appointments.
You will be given a set of realistic sales targets and KPI's and ultimately be rewarded generously for your results.

To apply you will have ideally sold in a business–to-business sales capacity within the security sector. However, candidates with strong business-to-business experience who are smartly presented; self-motivated and strong communicators will also be considered.

We will provide full product technical and sales training.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience required:
1.    Proven sales experience selling to system integrators and dealers.
2.    A strong background in market research and analysis
3.    A track record in new business pitches
4.    Account management and customer care
5.    Working with specifiers and leading consultants.
6.    Push/pull selling through Dealer network
 
Key Responsibilities and skills required:
1.         Ability to sell at boardroom level
2.         Good networking ability and organisational skills
3.         Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills
4.         Negotiating with networks and dealers
5.         Ability to work in a team and individually
6.         Confident with an excellent phone manner
7.         Strong customer facing skills
8.         Willingness to travel across the country
9.         Smart and well-presented
10.       Must have Full UK Driving License
